Smoke Alarm Installation

Whether you need to add a smoke alarm to a room or have a new build/have a newly renovated home that requires a brand-new interconnected system, AirPhase Electrical has you covered. We only use photoelectric smoke alarms that comply with the Australian Standard AS 3786-2014. Our technicians will advise where each smoke alarm needs to be located to comply with legislation.

Smoke Alarm Compliance Checks

A Smoke Alarm Compliance Check (an official certificate of compliance) is important for landlords, insurance purposes and property sales. Our technicians would come to your house to verify your smoke alarm system meets proper operation and Australian Standards as per the new legislation. This must be completed before the 1st of January 2027.

Smoke Alarm Routine Bookings

Most people aren’t aware that smoke alarms have a 10-year lifespan. AirPhase Electrical has you covered with Routine Bookings, so you don’t need to think about it until we let you know it’s time to replace them!

Smoke Alarm Upgrades

Upgrading your smoke alarms to be compliant with the new legislation is a must. All Smoke Alarms must now be interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms by the 1st of January 2027. AirPhase Electrical has you covered with technicians who will advise you where each smoke alarm needs to be located, to be compliant with this new legislation.
